We are fortunate to have a Top McKinney Orthodontics orthodontics team of highly trained, fun, and caring staff members. Our experienced and talented team is committed to working with you and your family to create a comfortable, stress-free, and rewarding orthodontic experience every time you visit our practice.

As soon as you walk in our doors, you’ll realize you are someplace special. The office itself is bright and lively with so much to see, but the real gem is our staff.

Our front desk team will greet you with a smile and get you checked in. After your appointment, you’ll see them again when making your appointment for the next visit. Our front desk loves to get to know you and your family, as well as to get you scheduled for the best time possible for you.

Though our Top McKinney Orthodontics Treatment Coordinators don’t have their hands in your mouth, they are very much involved. From the very start of your relationship with Smiles Hollywood Orthodontics, these team members sit down with you and the doctors to go over your anticipated treatment plan. They work tirelessly with insurance companies to apply your orthodontic coverage and discuss payment options with you while also answering questions about anything you need a little more information about.

When you’re ready for treatment, you may need an x-ray or a digital computer scan may be made of your teeth. The records team has honed their craft to an art, learning from each and every patient who comes through. We have an in-house lab and our Lab Manager has 21 years of experience with making retainers, aligners and so much more to help refine the Hollywood smile you’re here for!

Before even seeing our doctors, you’ll be in the capable hands of our squad of Top McKinney Orthodontics dental technical assistant. They will become familiar faces as you move through your orthodontic journey. Our patients love the personal relationships developed with this group. It is usual to hear our assistants and patients catching up with the goings-on in each person’s life since the last visit.

All of our orthodontic assistants have their Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) licenses and attend continuing education classes annually to keep those licenses up-to-date and learn the latest and greatest in orthodontic care.

Our doctors are dedicated to complete patient care and take many things into consideration when putting together a treatment plan. Dr. Crise and Dr. Downs have combined experience of over 45 years. Our doctors not only love our patients, but they love making our patient’s smiles look gorgeous through the science of orthodontics. In their 45 years, they have seen just about every scenario requiring orthodontics. Occasionally oral surgeons need to be involved and we have a network of highly trained professionals that we collaborate with if necessary. Our doctors participate in continuing education as well as attending several professional conferences each year to learn about exciting new Top McKinney Orthodontics techniques, products, and technology in orthodontics.

It’s easy to look at our staff in their scrubs and think of them as only dental professionals, but they are all people first who have fun, loving, and interesting lives. We love celebrations around our office so it seems there is always a staff member’s birthday to celebrate or the birth of a new baby or grandbaby.

The Smiles Hollywood Orthodontics team also participates in community interaction with various events throughout our city. We are proud and honored to offer our support to a variety of local charities and assistance programs. We have a long history with The Samaritan Inn which offers hope and services for the homeless. One of our fundraisers happens in the Fall when we have our Halloween candy drive. Patients turn in their excess candy and Smiles Hollywood donates money for every pound of candy collected and gives the money to The Samaritan Inn to purchase a variety of basic items desperately needed by residents.

Another event that is near and dear to our staff is our annual drive benefitting the youth of City church McKinney. Our patients have helped us collect blankets, socks, and other warm items each year for this wonderful group. The Community Food Pantry is another beneficiary of our community-minded staff and patients.

Since we work closely with so many area dentists, we want to make sure to get to know as many as we can. We hold a Chili Cookoff in the winter and invite local dentists and their staff members to participate. It is a fun event that helps our valuable team to meet others who are equally as vital to their practices and develop those relationships further.

Each year in the second half of the school year, it is all hands-on deck for our team as we prepare for Dr. Crise’s school visits to educate local elementary students about good hygiene for their teeth and to teach them what an orthodontist does for teeth. The Smiles Hollywood team is so integral in the prep work for these school visits and is just another example of how they are contributing to our community!

We enjoy planning Top McKinney Orthodontics events and contests to ramp up the fun for our patients. Each year we host an outdoor movie night in our parking lot for our patients and families to enjoy, complete with popcorn and candy. In the heat of the summer, we host a Slushie truck to help our staff, patient families and passersby to keep cool. During the entirety of the year, we have contests for our patients to keep their visits lively and fun. As our name suggests, we are really into movies so movie prizes are always popular.

Our fun events would not be possible without our dedicated Top McKinney Orthodontics team who work tirelessly behind the scenes, while also taking care of your teeth with skill and experience. “They work with you as the patient to help you achieve that “Hollywood” smile. As a kid I remember coming here and loving it, I mean the inside is decked out like Hollywood so it is very kid friendly. There is free popcorn, coffee, and video games kids can play while they wait.
