Our greatest goal is to give you the healthy, straight, and beautiful smile you have always wanted! We understand that choosing to receive Top Mckinney Orthodontics care is a big decision, and we are excited to help you improve the way you look and feel!

Smiles Hollywood Orthodontics will work with you every step of the way to make sure your orthodontic care is a rewarding experience. We utilize the latest technology, and offer a variety of safe and gentle Top Mckinney Orthodontics treatment options to give you the customized, individual care you deserve.
We are often asked if we treat adults too. Yes, we do treat adults as well as children. We do, however, offer a private area in our clinic that is separated from the rest of the clinic which is especially for adults who might want more privacy when being seen.

We take a lot of pride in our office and want you to feel at home, when you are visiting us. We offer a cappuccino machine as well as the very sought after, slushie machine! It’s fun to see our patients come in and ask us what the newest slushie flavors are! We trade out the flavors often! We will give you a tour of the entire office on your first visit, so you feel right at home each time.

We offer a cove area for little children, complete with toys and books to read, as well as children sized furniture in this area. We also have a Top Mckinney Orthodontics study space area for teens who want to do their homework in our reception room. We offer free Wi-FI as well for parents who need to work while waiting on their children. Our Smiles Hollywood movie theater is where we always have a kid friendly movie playing. We also offer a video gaming area, for those who enjoy video games. We have something for the whole family!

Every Smile Starts With an Initial Consultation!

Your initial consultation will give you the opportunity to meet our team, learn more about Top Mckinney Orthodontics, receive a complete and complementary initial exam by one of our outstanding doctors, and find out which treatment options will best meet your needs. During your initial consultation, we will:

• Review Your Dental and Medical History Forms
• Perform a complete oral exam, with digital x-rays, to determine whether treatment is necessary
• Help you create a customized treatment plan to decide whether Braces or Invisalign is right for you.
• Discuss all financial information, insurance options, and monthly payment plans

During this initial consultation, our doctor will spend about 30 minutes to 45 minutes with the patient. The doctor will look at your digital x-rays, do several measurements of the teeth and face, as well as examine your bite for proper function and fit. Then all possible treatment options will be discussed with you and we will help you decide on which treatment plan works best for you and your family.

Our treatment coordinator will then go over the cost of the treatment and help formulate a payment plan that works best for you. The treatment coordinator will also help you in understanding your insurance benefits and how that works into your orthodontic plan. As a benefit to you, Smiles Hollywood Orthodontics will file all insurance claims for you so that you don’t have to! This is a great Top Mckinney Orthodontics benefit to you since filing insurance can be a very tedious process and can involve hours on the phone.

If you don’t have orthodontic insurance don’t fret, because at Smiles Hollywood Orthodontics we provide in-house financing with NO INTEREST to make your treatment plan as affordable as possible. The treatment coordinator will go over the payment plan with you at your initial consultation. Before you leave our office, you will know your estimated orthodontic treatment plan, your treatment fee and your monthly payment plan. We do offer a paid in full discount too, if you would like to pay the entire treatment fee in one lump payment. Your treatment fee will cover all of your visits to the orthodontist, all emergency visits (should you break a bracket or a wire is poking) and your retainers. Also, watch for our specials on Facebook and Google as well as print ads! These specials can help to decrease your orthodontic fee.

What Happens After the Initial Consultation?

After your initial consultation you are one step closer to achieving the smile you’ve always wanted! On your second appointment to our office, Dr. Crise or Dr. Downs will place your new orthodontic appliance, Braces, or Invisalign/Clear Aligners in your mouth. At this appointment, you will meet briefly with the treatment coordinator to get questions answered, sign all the paperwork, and get instructions on how to take care of your teeth with Braces, orthodontic appliances or Invisalign/ Clear Aligners.

Scheduling Appointments

Visiting our office about every six to twelve weeks is an essential part of your orthodontic treatment. Our practice will work with you to make sure your appointments are as convenient as possible. When scheduling appointments, please let us know which days and times work best for you.
At Smiles Hollywood Orthodontics, we understand that “life happens”! If you’re running late or need to reschedule, please let us know and we will do everything we can to accommodate you. Visiting the Dentist During Orthodontic Treatment

It is especially vital that you continue to visit your family dentist once every six months for teeth cleanings and routine dental checkups during your orthodontic treatment. Brushing can be more challenging with braces or appliances on and we don’t want you to get cavities. If extra dental care is needed, we will be happy to coordinate with your family dentist to make sure you receive the best possible care.
